Cheralyn Darcey is an Environmental Artist, an Author and Flower Reader and Teacher who has a life long connection with the spiritual and healing properties of Plants. The focus of Cheralyn's work is not to create a new modality, but to take us back to The Language of Natureand listen to what is already here.

She has spent many years travelling and living around the world, researching, learning and sharing with others her developed knowledge surrounding the energetic qualities of Plants from their source traditions.

Cheralyn has also shared her skills and passion for Creativity and Art with a focus on environmental art through her 25 year plus commitment to teaching many and diverse subjects in this field, a complement to her Passion for Nature Traditions.

Her Art has featured in Workshops, Exhibitions, Art Prizes and Publications Internationally for the last 30 years.
Working primarily in Waste to Art Mediums and Mixed Media as a pioneer of these methods, Cheralyn encourages others to look a little deeper at what is already here. She encourages a greater care and understanding of Nature, of our Earth and Ourselves.

Cheralyn is about to release a series of her Artworks and her Writings through Rockpool Publishing beginning September 2014 with the Australian Wildflower Reading Deck to be followed by other titles in various forms concentrating on Nature and the Environment. They provide a connection, through traditional art and traditional wisdom of the lands that these plants and flowers are found.

A keen hiker and urban nature lover, Cheralyn lives in Sydney on the lower Northern Beaches with husband, Paul and has two young adult children, Jared and Maddison. Paul and Jared are both Clearance Divers and Maddison is an Artist, having just graduated from Sydney University she is starting her apprenticeship as a Tattoo Artist.

Cheralyn has volunteered for over a decade at her local Environment Centre ~ The Manly Environment Centre, assisting with local eco initiatives and projects. In this way she feels fully connected with not only staying aware of local and global issues but in assisting in a hands~on way each week within her community.
